Feel better… then DANCE!

One of our customers, Amy Kim, is a local dance instructor here in the South Bay area. Amy is a Line Dance instructor for 3 different dance classes varying in age, difficulty and location. She has been referring many of her students to our Torrance Shop, for many of them have places of concern while they are dancing. We were recently able to attend a couple of Amy’s classes to introduce our products to more of her students. Many of the people in her class were still unaware of Phiten, so they were able to try out our tapes for the first time. We received much positive feedback from Amy’s students, so we hope to grow much larger within the dancing community.

Phiten Torrance Shop Runs 5k!

Run like the wind! Well, at least that was our attempt. On October 10th, there was the 5k Run/Walk & Fitness Expo held at the Promenade on the Peninsula Mall in Rolling Hills, CA. This run was to help showcase the mall, and also help to benefit the Harbor Area YWCA.

Normally in events like these, we would set up a booth and try to promote and sell our products. But this time we decided to take a different route (literally). Our Torrance Shop staff decided to actually participate in this run, and promote our Phiten name by helping out the local businesses in the South Bay area.

Half of us participated in the full run, as the other half participated in the walk and walked around the course with our Phiten Flag. This was a great way to give our name some publicity while supporting the event. We were able to talk to other runners about our products and also tell them about our store. There were runners there who were already wearing our products proudly, and the winner of the run was actually wearing our Mirror Necklace!

We already had customers visit our shop after they saw us at this event. Hopefully we can do more events like this, so we can make a more personal connection with the public and also let everyone know what Phiten is all about.

Hurray for Phiten Torrance Shop!

Phiten’s gonna knock you out!

Don’t worry, Phiten isn’t really going to knock anyone out. We are actually quite harmless and very friendly.

Recently, the Phiten Torrance Shop was fortunate to have a customer who is in the Women’s Amateur Boxing world! She came into the shop to try our products, and she then later returned with positive results and purchased a few items for herself.

Her name is Nana Yoshikawa. Originating from Japan, she was training around the Southern California area and was a part of the English Factory Gym (Team EFG). She participated in the 2010 Ringside World Championships and placed 2nd place in the Women’s 119 lbs Division.

Nana likes to use our Phiten Massage Lotion to recover from her rigorous training. She also used the lotion to recover in between her matches at the World Championships. She said that the lotion helped her a lot with her success at the World Championships.

As you can see, Phiten is not all about the necklaces and bracelets. We also have items such as lotions and tapes to help your body deal with your physical stress. These are just a few ways that Phiten can help you “experience the energy!”

Invasion of the REDS!!

The Seattle Phiten Store got invaded by the Cincinnati Reds!!

On Saturday, 6/19/2010, the Seattle Store was flooded with Reds Players! We had players such as Mike Leake and Aaron Harang, who mingled among employees and regular customers, treating us all with their fun conversations and down to earth kindness. Many of the players loved our various products, purchasing all kinds or merchandise. They were as excited as we were and hope to come back to visit again soon!

We were invited by Ms. Mariko Takahashi to demonstrate Phiten products to her students in aerodance and maternitybic (maternity-aerobic) class.

Ms. Mariko Takahashi has taught aerobics in Japan for 16 years. When she moved to the United States, she couldn’t forget her passion for exercise and decided to teach aerobic for ready-to-be-mothers and students who want to go back in shape. Ms. Mariko emphasizes on working out regularly because it will help the blood circulation, shoulder aches, constipation, and even weight loss! She uses our necklace to prevent herself from getting sores from her fun yet intense classes. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to perform Phiten demonstrations to your students, Ms. Mariko!
