James and Rona Spring, from Queensland, Australia, visited Oahu recently to participate in the 4th Annual Hibiscus Half Marathon, on June 6th, 2010.
Avid Phiten users, they stopped by the Phiten Hawaii Shop before their run to see our new products and find something to help with their different ailments. Rona Spring had actually broken her ankle just 8 weeks earlier, and needed to find something to help her get through the race. Our staff recommended the Titanium Support Compression Wrap, which can be used to support the ankle area. When they came back to the store after their run, here is what Rona had to say:
“Your products helped me to finish second in my age bracket! I couldn’t have made it through without your compression wrap on my ankle. Ever since I broke it 8 weeks ago, it has been swollen and its been tough for me to put a lot of weight on it. The compression wrap was perfect, since it provided the support I needed while also taking some of the pain away and getting rid of the swelling. I was able to finish well ahead of folks half my age!”
Congratulations Rona Spring! Here in the Phiten Hawaii Shop, we are proud to have been able to help you medal! Keep up the running, and we are happy to help you in all of your races!

I am an 82 year old Korean. I almost gave up line dance and golf due to my condition. For a long time now, I have been suffering from sleep disorder. I would wake up at least 3 times a night, and have hard time going back to sleep. Because I was not able to sleep through the night, I have felt my fatigue to never cease. My quality of life has degraded to nothing but old age and sleeplessness.
With the introduction of Phiten’s x30 Mirror Necklace, I am now able to sleep from 10pm to 5am without waking up in between. I can now live a normal life that many of us take for granted. Phiten has given me new life.

People love the power sleeve. It is used by wide range of people. I’ve seen some of the National Kendo Team members using it on their calves, some gymnastics girls in this local area, and in little league baseball.
Above is Steve Mackel of socalrunning.com
Recently, Steve Mackel reviewed the Phiten Power Sleeve at socalrunning.com. (The video is below.) For those of you who doesn’t know Steve Mackel, he is a coach/trainer for marathon. I’ve just read his biography, but it seems that his interest goes beyond running as well. He has experience in triathlon as well as many other sports such as basketball, snowboarding, . . . and ping-pong?? (I love Ping-Pong!) You will find his biography at socalrunning.com.
